Invitation to group exhibition in Het Gripshuis
During two weekends at the end of November and the beginning of December, a large number of my works will be on display in Vught.
In the beautiful house of the painter Carel Joseph Grips, I have the privilege of 'decorating' the living room. The entire Gripshuis will breathe art, just like in the past.
Besides my works, the (photo)graphic art of Jan Hogema, the sculptures of Mark van den Heuvel, and the light objects of Ralf van der Pennen will also be on display. Plus, there will be contributions from poet Nikki Bergmans.
You are warmly invited.

Solo exhibition Rechtbank Amsterdam
Solo exhibition Rechtbank Amsterdam
From October to December , a selection of my work will be on display at the Amsterdam Court.
I find it an honour and also very exciting, as I once walked the halls of the Amsterdam Court as an advocate and now my work is hanging and lying there.
On the 2nd floor, there are works from my project 'my last journey(?)' and 'the Disintegration of the Persistence of Memory by the Port of Rotterdam in cooperation with Apple Maps'. The large wall tapestry 'Vetri Oscurati I' can be seen on the 3rd floor, along with images from 'this is not America'.
In addition, my images, texts and information are displayed in the two display cases on the 2nd floor.
The court is a public building and accessible without an appointment, every working day from 8 am to 5 pm. At the reception, you can inform them that you are there to view the art on the 2nd and 3rd floors.
The address is: Parnassusweg 280, Amsterdam.

Friday 4th - Sunday 6th November 2022 - Famous prison opens doors for BIG ART - XL art fair returns to Amsterdam’s Bajeskwartier
The former Bijlmerbajes will reopen to the public on the first weekend of November for the BIG ART fair. The Main Building or ‘Hoofdgebouw’ of the old prison complex will form the backdrop for large sculptures, drawings, light artworks, paintings, photography and art installations. In the coming years, the Bajeskwartierarea will be the greenest district of the city, with the ‘Hoofdgebouw’ as its beating creative heart. OMA architects have redesigned the 5,000m2 building which will provide space for creative makers and cultural initiatives in the future.
A Clean Slate
The building is completely empty so artists have free rein. They are allowed to paint, draw and build inside the old prison building. It is precisely this freedom that makes BIG ART different from other art fairs, here artists are given the space to experiment and create new work on the spot. Although the building has been completely gutted, you can still find traces of the former prison in various places.
A pop-up platform for XL artworks and huge design objects, brought to you by a blend of established artists and designers as well as upcoming talents. Every year BIG ART occupies a special building in or around Amsterdam where dozens of galleries, artists and designers fill the place with a unique mix of monumental paintings and drawings, large sculptures and photographs, mesmerizing lightart and impressive interactive installations. On show, and for sale!

HAPPY 2021!
Mijn werk 'Man & his Sea-I' is geselecteerd voor de expo #artistsupportpledge, georganiseerd door TINKEBELL, De Balie en This Works Club.
locatie: De Balie, Kleine-Gartmanplantsoen 10, Amsterdam
Mijn werk en werken van andere kunstenaars zijn in tussentijd wel nog steeds te zien op instagram. @artist.supportpledge, @artistsupportpledge @dominique.gebbink

Gup heeft mijn werk geselecteerd voor Gup New 2020 (voorheen: New Dutch Photography Talent)!
https://www.newdutchtalent.com/exhibition
On Friday, 6 December, the launch party of the latest edition of GUP New (formerly known as New Dutch Photography Talent) takes place in a new location: the Machinegebouw, on the Westergas terrain in Amsterdam.
During this night, the book will be available for the first time, which presents 100 emerging photography talents to a national and international audience of photography fans and professionals. It is also the opening of the GUP New 2020 group exhibition, showing a photograph by each of the 100 talents.
During the launch party, for the very first time, the GUP New Dutch Photography Talent Award 2020 will be presented!
Don't miss that great celebration of emerging Dutch photography!
Many thanks to Brinkhof for the great support, to the Westergas to host us and of course to GUP magazine.
Looking forward to meet you there.
